Focusing on the needs of the non-profit sector. Assessment and management skills in public
relations, boards of directors, fundraising, social entrepreneurship, facility
and event management, long and short term planning, and strategic networking.
399. Professional Internship (6)
Provides an experiential learning opportunity with a operational arts
organization. Involves direct experience
in management of an arts organization, emphasis on leadership, advocacy,
marketing, facility management, event planning, audience development.
400. Capstone (3)
Create an event plan that expands work begun during
internship and culminates in a public presentation. Demonstrate ability to
manage, produce literature and/or materials, fundraise, and execute events that
foster cultural literacy and arts appreciation.
