Some of our alumni in the real world:
- Anne Marie Church is a solo voice performer who has recorded two CDs. She has performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and with the New York Grand Opera Orchestra and many others.
- Elgin Clingaman is co-owner of the Renaissance Pipe Organ Company, servicing approximately 80 pipe organs throughout the Midwest.
- Eric Swanson (class of 2007) taught five wonderful years at the Roeper School in Birmingham, MI where he was director of middle and upper school choirs. In 2012, he left his position to open his own non-profit theatre company and pursue some of his own performance passions. Recently, Eric went on a national tour with a two person show titled "The Power of One," which is an anti-bullying show! Cities he toured included Chicago, Indianapolis, Nashville, Atlanta, Tampa and Charlotte. Now residing in Ferndale, MI, he runs his company called The Detroit Actor's Theatre Company, and is developing an educational outreach program meant to be made available to kids grade 6-12 free of charge. Eric still performs in the Detroit area with his singing group Motif, which he co-founded in 2011 with Gerianne Ditto (class of 2008).
