Dr. Tim Lawson
Dr. Lawson received his Bachelor’s degree from Adrian College in 1985 and his doctoral degree in Social Psychology from Miami University in 1989. He’s currently Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Psychology at the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Lawson has published two books and dozens of journal articles on a variety of topics, including statistical reasoning, social perception and the teaching of psychology. He was recently ranked #8 among all contributors to the journal Teaching of Psychology. At the College of Mount St. Joseph, Dr. Lawson has been awarded the Clifford Award for Excellence in Teaching (in 2003 and 2012), the Distinguished Scholar Award and the Cooperative Education Coordinator of the Year Award.
Dr. Anthony P. Kontos
Dr. Kontos is assistant research director for the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and associate professor in the Department of Othropaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. His PhD and MS in kinesiology/sport psychology and MA/internships in counseling psychology are from Michigan State University. His BA in psychology is from Adrian College. He has over 75 professional publications and 130 presentations and has received funding from the Department of Defense, National Institutes of Health, US Special Operations Command and National Football League Charities. His research focuses on neurocognitive, neuromotor and psychological effects of concussion.
