Sport Administration
The Master of Arts in Sport Administration and Leadership (SAL) program at Adrian College will provide an education that is immediately applicable to sport management careers. Students will gain real-world experience through internships, assistantships and class projects, while exploring advances in theory across each discipline.

Program Overview
The SAL program is an unparalleled option for anyone interested in a leadership role within the sport management field. The program will offer students an opportunity to critically analyze complex problems, using theory and research to identify and solve issues to unique sport organizations.
Class will be taught by scholars with real industry experience, who will engage and prepare students for a future within the field. Students will be assigned projects that require them to investigate, collect, and analyze data, presenting suggestions to resolve or address issues within the industry.
Industry Need
The SportBusiness Journal (December, 1999) identified sport industry as the sixth largest industry in the U.S. Kearney (2012) estimated the total sport industry, including infrastructure construction, sporting goods, license products and live sport events, has an annual impact on the U.S. economy of between $480-620 billion. The Kearney report also indicated that the industry is growing much faster than national GDP.
