Frequently Asked Questions
What do I bring to college?
The personal items you choose to bring will make your room your own unique place on campus. Some of the items you may wish to bring are listed below.
- Alarm clock
- Cleaning supplies
- Desk lamp
- Fused power strips
- Laundry supplies
- Mattress cover

Who is my roommate? Can I select my roommate?
First-year students are assigned to one of the freshman housing residence halls after receipt of their enrollment deposit and their completed Adrian College Residence Hall Room and Board Agreement.
Housing priority is based on the date the student’s payment is received, their preference of hall and roommate and the availability of rooms in the hall(s) they have requested.
Any specific roommate request must be mutual in order to ensure matching.
When do I register for classes?
In May and June, you can complete and submit the Class Registration Form online which is emailed to your AC email after you submit your ALEKS placement test. Class schedules for students will be provided on Sneak Peek day or during Welcome Week.
What type of computer should I buy?
Adrian College does not require students to bring a computer to campus, but many students find having access to one in their room a valuable piece of their academic life. Therefore, whichever type of computer a student would like to buy is their decision. Adrian College offered several computer labs throughout campus—even one that is open 24 hours in Caine Student Center.
Please note, all students agree to abide by the rules in the Computer Use Agreement.
