​Are you planning an event, meeting, or conference?

The Office of Conferences makes the exciting but demanding job of planning your event a little bit easier. Our goal is not only to provide service, but allow the planner to participate in the event.

Conferences handles all on-campus programs ranging from summer conferences to daily meetings and social events. Conferences held at Adrian College have ranged from spiritual to academic, from business seminars to family gatherings. Each year, our campus services over 7,000 guests. With our variety of spacious facilities, we have all you need to make your next event a success.

Facility Request

On-Campus Groups

If you are an Adrian College faculty or staff member or a student organization leader who needs to reserve a facility, please complete and return one of the following forms to the conferences office in Valade Hall. Call x3156 if you have questions.

Off-Campus Groups

If you are reserving a room or facility for an off-campus group, please call our Conferences office at (517) 264-3156. We will be happy to assist you with meeting your needs in everything from meeting rooms, meals, lodging and recreation.

Floor Plans & Plant Service

If you have floor plans or a plant service request form (see below), please e-mail them to Denise Hein at dhein@adrian.edu or deliver them to the Conferences Office on the first floor of Valade Hall.

Catering

If your event is to be catered, please contact Pat Dumont of Sodexho to set up your order. She can be reached at ext. 4126 or pdumont@adrian.edu.

Audio & Visual Requests

If the room you are requesting does not have the audio/visual technology to meet your event’s needs, please contact the ECC at extension 4485.

Art Rocks Kids Day Camp 

Looking for a creative activity for the kids this summer? ARK (Art Rocks Kids) Day Camp is back July 15 through 19 for a week of fun, art making, and exploring the theme of the rainforest. Younger children meet from 9 to noon; older ones from 1 – 4. Taught by area art teachers Annie Howard (Adrian Public Schools) and Jackie Whiteley (Tecumseh Public Schools), assisted by Adrian College art education students, young artists use a large tent outdoors as home base and have access to the facilities of the art department.

Artists work in a wide variety of media, including clay, printmaking, paint, jewelry, sculpture and drawing.

 

Enroll through the Adrian College Conferences Department: walk in or call Jamie Hollingshead (517-265-5161 x4382). Class is $70 and includes all materials. Scholarships are available.
