The Office of Student Activities is your connection to the community. The office maintains a database of community agencies, plans several annual service events, and serves as a resource for anyone interested in community service.
Annual Service Projects
Blood Drives: Through various student organizations, Red Cross sponsors multiple opportunities for blood donation each year .
Community Outreach Week: Each Spring, the Student Activities Office cooperates with on-campus organizations and the community to establish a week of events devoted to service.
Community Plunge: Adrian College students experience their first opportunity for community service. During freshman orientation, students are separated into groups and shuttled to various local agencies where they familiarize themselves with peers while contributing to their new community.
Dance Marathon: Students and volunteers collaborate to raise money for a charitable cause through various fundraisers, culminating in the Dance Marathon held each Spring.
Gift of Life Ball: Each Fall, African American Leaders Promoting Higher Education (ALPHA) sponsors a formal dinner and dance to raise money for a selected cause.

The Office of Student Activities is the source of information about campus events and activities. Commuters are strongly encouraged to join student organizations or participate in other leadership opportunities on the campus.
Bulletin boards in Caine Student Center are designated for disseminating information. This information includes telephone listings, flyers and announcements for upcoming events and much more. Commuting students may sign up for a campus mailbox in the Residence Life Office.
Commuter students looking to keep up with campus happenings are encouraged to sign up for regular e-mail updates from the Office of Student Activities. Updates will include the monthly newsletter, announcements about upcoming events, community service opportunities, and other important information. If you are a commuter student and would like to receive these updates, call the Office of Student Activities at 264-3811 or send an email to Cindy Schmucker.
