Pi Kappa Alpha
New to the campus of Adrian College, the gentlemen in the colony of Pi Kappa Alpha are dedicated to being Scholars, Leaders, Athletes and Gentlemen—following their tagline of “SLAG.” The gentlemen are competitive and sincere. They are about bettering themselves through high standards and goals, achieving what they set out to do. They work hard and play hard, and hold each other accountable ... and, they have a fire truck.
Founded on Adrian’s campus during Homecoming in 2011, the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity is still a Colony, meaning they aren’t yet considered a Chapter by national standards, but the Zeta Lambda Colony is close to doing just that. Their hope is to be initiated, officially, in the fall of 2013.
Scholars. Leaders. Athletes. Gentlemen. If you are one of those, then we consider you a brother and you are welcome at our house.
The Zeta Lambda’s require that members be involved in two other organizations on campus (i.e., band, sports, or other student organization), which is unique to the fraternities on campus. While a lot of the brothers are athletes, you do not necessarily have to be an athlete to join the colony.
Their preferred charities are the Humane Society and the Boys and Girls Club of Lenawee Country.

The brothers of Pi Kappa hold an open bid policy. They look for quality over quantity—meaning they want you to see how you fit in within the brotherhood before you decide to join. Interested individuals should come to events, parties, etc. to get to know the gentlemen of Pike.
