ADRIAN, Mich – Twenty-seven Adrian College Art and Design students were accepted for display in the Michigan Small Colleges Art Exhibition, on view through March 10th at Alma College in Alma, MI. A total of 78 works by students from four regional schools—Adrian, Albion, Alma, and Olivet—were selected for the 2013 juried exhibition. Of these 78 selections, 30 featured are Adrian’s own.
The show is on display in the Flora Kirsch Beck Gallery, Clack Art Center, on the northwest part of Alma’s campus, Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The gallery will be closed for Winter Break from February 23 – March 3.
The reception and awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 10th, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Any full or part-time student at any of the participating colleges could submit to the Michigan Small Colleges Art Exhibition. Featured works must have been completed during the student’s undergraduate college experience and not previously exhibited in a Michigan Small Colleges’ Art Exhibition.
