ADRIAN — Adrian College’s Criminal Justice, Media Studies and Marketing programs were recently recognized as the “Best in Michigan” by PLEXUSS Global Rankings, an education technology company that provides millions of students information on colleges across the country.
PLEXUSS ranked Adrian College No. 1 in “Best in Michigan Offering Criminal Justice Programs,” No. 3 in “Best in Michigan Offering Media Studies Programs,” and No. 4 in “Best in Michigan Offering Marketing Programs.”
“Once again, Adrian College has been recognized for academic excellence,” Andrea Milner, Adrian College vice president, dean of academic affairs said. “We are so pleased to be ranked among the top programs in Michigan for our criminal justice, media studies, and marketing programs.”
Based in California, PLEXUSS operates the largest student opportunity network of its kind with over seven million student users and approximately 18,000 post-secondary institutions worldwide. Students can start using the free service as early as ninth grade.
“This recognition underscores the efforts of our diligent and hardworking students who excel in these programs,” Milner said. “Furthermore, our faculty and staff strive every day to provide our students with the highest quality educational experience possible.”
Milner said Adrian College has approved nine new majors, five new minors, two new certificates, and three new Masters programs during the coronavirus pandemic.
“Adrian College is always forward thinking and has found a way to provide new and relevant educational offerings for our students and prospective students, even during this current pandemic,” Milner said.
