Adrian College Gives Back to the Community

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College staff, faculty and students continue to embrace the spirit of community outreach through innovative programs and charitable contribution. The Bulldogs invite the friends, family and supporters of the college to join the campus in its efforts to assist in putting food on the tables of those in need.

Join Sodexo and Helping Hands Across America by supporting their food drive Thursday November 17th and 18th. Bring in at least four non-perishable food items to Ritchie Dining Hall on the college campus on Thursday Nov 17 between 5-7 PM for their Thanksgiving feast. Participating donors will receive a free meal in exchange for their contribution. All donations will be given to The Daily Bread (Adrian’s local soup kitchen). Take part in the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Hockey teams non-perishable food drive at Arrington Ice Arena on November 18, 19, 20 during the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Hockey games. The Men and Lady Bulldogs will take to the courts against Siena Heights on November 22nd. Get involved and cheer on the ‘Dogs as they challenge their cross-town rivals and the battle against hunger. Both Basketball teams are asking for a minimum donation of three non-perishable food items to be donated during the events of the evening. All those who make a donation will be entered into a drawing for a $100.00 VISA gift card. Drawing will take place during Women’s game at 6:00 PM with the Men’s’ battle for the “Brown Jug” beginning at 8:00 PM. All participants must be present to win. Donated food items will be shared with Associated Charities of Lenawee.
