Adrian College Selected From Among Thousands as a Best Value School Award Recipient
Rigorous selection process conducted by committee of former college presidents, university CEOs, provosts and professors
ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College has been selected out of nearly 8,000 post-secondary schools as the recipient of a Best Value School award. The award is issued by University Research & Review (www.urandr.org-us), a company dedicated to improving the process of how a student selects a post-secondary school.
“This distinction is one we value greatly because it is an honor bestowed on Adrian College by a prestigious group of evaluators who intimately know higher education. The rigorous selection criteria used to land us on this impressive list of prominent colleges and universities makes the distinction extremely meaningful,” says Adrian College President Jeff Docking.
Adrian College Vice President for Enrollment & Student Affairs, Frank Hribar received the award on behalf of the college today from URR Founder Joseph Schmoke. Schmoke stated, “It is our distinguished pleasure to present the award to Adrian College. We hope current students and alumni take pride in this honor, and anyone searching for a quality, reasonably proceed college education strongly considers Adrian College.”
The committee that reviewed more than 100 nominees out of thousands of eligible schools is made up of former university presidents, CEOs, provosts and professors. Schools cannot pay to receive the award: it has to be earned through the nomination and committee evaluation process. Adrian College was chosen by the committee because it passed rigorous standards including a combination of cost, accreditation, variety and quality of school programs, and student satisfaction with the institution.
Adrian College Vice President for Enrollment & Student Affairs, Frank Hribar added, “This accolade highlights the continued advancement the Adrian College community continues to make in providing truly transformational education in an extraordinary setting. Our entire community can take pride and continued inspiration from this recognition.”
“Our committee prides itself on combining our extensive experience, knowledge of post-secondary education and insight into what provides students with good value when selecting the Best Value award recipient,” says Schmoke.
Adrian College will retain the Best Value School designation for one year. Award recipients must re-qualify every year.
