Bulldogs Unite: Calling All Alumni & Friends to Adrian College Homecoming

Festivities scheduled for September 18-20.

ADRIAN, MI (September 15, 2015) – Adrian College announces their 2015 Homecoming activities. The annual event is the College’s largest gathering of alumni and friends, welcoming new and familiar faces to campus September 18-20.

Kick off the weekend on Friday, September 18, with the Athletic Walk of Fame at 5:15 p.m. Join the campus community as they congratulate the 2015 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees. At 7:00 p.m. fun for the whole family commences as the Robinson Planetarium presents “Dinosaur Prophecy” a full dome planetarium experience taking you back in time when dinosaurs roamed the earth; free admission. Or catch the game with your friends as the ACHA DIII Gold Hockey Team takes on University of Michigan in Arrington Ice Arena at 7:00 p.m., admission is free.

On Saturday, watch the Lady Bulldogs take on Calvin College in the women’s soccer match up beginning at noon at Docking Stadium. General admission is $5.00, admission for seniors and children 10 and under is $3.00.

Tailgating for reserved parking guests will take place in the Merillat parking lot from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with food vendors and other activities open to the public. The traditional ‘Kids Korner,’ petting zoo and train rides will be operating from 11:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. offering superhero entertainment for children of all ages. Other can’t miss events include the annual Homecoming Parade encircling campus which begins at 1:00 p.m., and the ACHA Alumni Hockey Game, live from Arrington from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

The Bulldogs take to the football field in full black and gold glory as they take on Benedictine College (Ill.) with kick off at 5:00 p.m. Enjoy the music of the Adrian College Marching Band during the pre-game and halftime. Gates open at 4:00 p.m., general admission is $7; seniors over 60 and children under 10 $5.

On Sunday, take part in the 11:00 a.m. worship service, hosted by AC’s Chaplain Christopher Momany with special guest speaker Rev. Kyle Bucholz ’11 entitled, “Bulldog Wisdom.” The traditional service, held in Herrick Chapel will also feature the Adrian College Choir.

The Caine Student Center will feature campus amenities including Bulldog Beanery, The Grille @ AC & Zebi by Sodexo, and the 110 Madison Ave. salon with special Homecoming hours.  Arrington Bookstore will also offer Saturday hours to purchase your Bulldog black and gold spirit gear.
