Hribar Appointed as Delegate to The College Board

Position provides council and management to the board and president.

ADRIAN, Mich. (April 2, 2014) – Dr. Frank Hribar, Vice President for Enrollment and Student Affairs at Adrian College, was recently appointed to a position as a Delegate to The College Board.

As a delegate, he will serve on the Guidance and Admission Assembly, which, according to CollegeBoard.org, considers how to provide educational opportunities for students through crucial transition points. This Assembly addresses issues and actions related to professional ethics and educational standards, while providing advice on college planning, assessment, admission and retention.

A governing council of representatives from member institutions leads these national assemblies. The intent is to oversee the affairs of each (Academic Assembly, College Scholarship Service Council Members, Guidance and Admissions Council Members) while advising the Board of Trustees and the President of The College Board on matters of concern.

More than 6,000 two and four-year colleges, universities, secondary schools and districts, higher education systems and other nonprofit organizations compose the Board.
