Adrian, MICH – Adrian College adds additional talent to this years spring concert lineup with the announcement of Josh Gracin and Natalie Stovall to preceed Jake Owen on March 16th at 8:00 PM in the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center on the campus of Adrian College.
Michigan native, Josh Gracin, possesses a soulful voice that has led to several hits, beginning with his American Idol roots during season two. His all-American good looks, Midwestern charm and passionate vocal style compliment a poet’s heart and an ex-Marine’s discipline and work ethic.
Following his run on American Idol and the completion of his military service, he signed with Lyric Street Records and released his self-titled debut album in June 2004. The album was RIAA-certified gold and spawned three top five singles—“I Want to Live,” “Stay With Me (Brass Bed),” and the No. 1 hit “Nothin’ to Lose.” Gracin’s highly-anticipated sophomore effort, We Weren’t Crazy, was released in 2008 and delivered title track, “We Weren’t Crazy,” the ballad “Unbelievable (Ann Marie),” and fan favorite “Favorite State of Mind.”
Natalie Stovall is a rising star in the music scene, having made her fiddle debut at the age of 10, Stovall has performed everywhere from Oprah to the Grand Ole Opry. Recently sweeping the awards at the APCA national conference and the Campus Activities Magazine winning “Best Band”, “Best Entertainer”, “Best Female Performer”, and “Best Music”. After releasing a new collection of songs this spring, as well as revisiting a few old favorites, Stovall has made a name by transforming original songs with a down-home poignant flare.
