ADRIAN, Mich. – Dr. Jeffrey R. Docking, president of Adrian College, has been invited to testify before the U.S. Congressional Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Training. The hearing, entitled “Keeping College Within Reach: Improving Access and Affordability through Innovative partnerships,” is scheduled for Wednesday, September 18 in Washington, D.C.
“Adrian College is honored to be selected to testify before a committee of the United States congress,” Docking said. “This invitation illustrates the dedication of everyone on campus in recent years to enhance our quality, grow enrollment and create an exceptional educational experience for our students.”
During his testimony, Docking will discuss Adrian College’s phenomenal growth in recent years and the unique business model that led to the College’s appearance in several national headlines. During the address, Docking will also discuss the additional efforts to improve access to College for students through financial aid programs.
Last week, the College announced the addition of a new loan repayment assistance initiative which offers to pay all or part of its student’s loans if they are unable to secure a well paying job post graduation.
