ADRIAN, Mich. (May 8, 2014) – Adrian College announced recently that it will make a $500,000 investment in its security infrastructure and systems. The College partnered with Siemens, a leading security solutions company with a proven track record in higher education security system integration.
The new plan calls for the addition of a new server that will accommodate over 130 state-of-the-art cameras and the installation of electronic access controls in residence halls, academic buildings and athletic facilities.
“Our second priority is educating students,” Docking said. “Our first is their safety.”
Fundraising began in February with the project completion expected by fall semester.
