Biography

David Raines came to Lenawee County from Detroit in 1989 to study music at Adrian College and has been hanging around ever since! He serves primarily as staff accompanist for music theatre. Whether serving as musical director for many of the theatre department's productions over the last 20 years, or accompanying Musical Theatre workshop for the last several years, David had become an integral part of the artistic community. You'll often find him on the conductor's podium at the Croswell Opera House or playing the powerful pipe organ at the First Presbyterian Church of Adrian. He also serves as staff accompanist/collaborator for the Tecumseh Public Schools Choir Program.

David lives in Adrian with his wife of 18 years, Brook, and their daughter...er...dog, Lucy.
