Biography
After growing up in small town Cygnet, Ohio, and graduating from Elmwood High School, I chose to pursue my bachelor’s degree at Adrian College. I succeeded in that task, receiving my degree in Communication Arts, with a minor in Business Administration. I graduated in 2015.
During my time at Adrian, I played two years of basketball, coached freshman basketball at Adrian High School, and met my future wife, Elise.
My first job after college was with News Channel Nebraska, an independent radio and television network spanning the state. I held the titles of Sports Director and Multimedia Journalist, as I oversaw the live production of high school and collegiate athletics, put together news and sports stories for broadcasts, and was able to be the voice of Doane University football.
Following more than two years out west, I returned home to Northwest Ohio. I was a Multimedia Journalist for WNWO (NBC 24) in Toledo, Ohio for three years. I presented news stories every day, and gained valuable experience at a network television station.
Now, I’ve returned to Adrian College and am excited to work with so many brilliant students at the Media Production House. My goals are to continue to grow Adrian College Television and help these students gain valuable experience and learn what their true passions are.
Outside of work, I am an avid movie watcher, and die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Lakers and The Ohio State University.
