Biography

Jennifer is an honors graduate of Siena Heights University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Communications. She joined Adrian College in fall 2009 as the Assistant Director of Office of Career Planning. Compton was promoted to Director of Career Planning in early 2011 before being named the Director of Public Relations.

Prior to her work with Adrian College, she was employed by the City of Adrian as its Downtown Development Coordinator/DDA Director. Compton has held other positions in marketing and advertising prior to her work at the College.

Compton has served on several planning committees to enhance the College's vision, as well as supporting students in their pursuit of career goals. As an avid Adrian College sports fan she attends games and competitions throughout the year.

Outside of her passion for the College, Compton participates in regional and national horse shows with her two quarter horses. She enjoys watching Red Wing hockey, the Detroit Tigers, and the Green Bay Packers. When not involved in athletic endeavors, she enjoys spending time at the lake with her two canine companions.
