Biography
Lisa Raschiatore teaches entry-level music theory at Adrian College while maintaining an active career as a freelance clarinetist and teacher in the southeastern michigan area. She is a regular performer with the Michigan Philharmonic, Dearborn, Western Michigan and Travers Symphony Orchestras and has also appeared with the Windsor, Grand Rapids and Detroit Symphony Orchestras. She is an active proponent of contemporary music, commissioning works from composers and performing new music with colleagues she has met through her travels. She completed her Doctoral degree at the University of Michigan with a course emphasis on music theory pedagogy. she is currently on several faculties in Michigan, including Madonna University (clarinet and chamber music) and Adrian College (music theory).
