Biography

    Holder of a Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Award for directing. Has served on the executive/selection committee for the mid-west region of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Has served as Interim Artistic Director of the Croswell Opera House as well as president of the board of directors. Was named as the recipient of the Ross Newsom Award for outstanding teaching at Adrian College in 2004. In 2010 was chosen for the Adrian College Honorary Alumni Award. Currently holds the office of National President of the theatre honorary society, Theta Alpha Phi.

    Recently appeared as Wiley Post in the Will Rogers Follies at the Croswell Opera House in Adrian. Has played numerous roles at The Croswell over the last twenty-four years including Horace Vandergelder in Hello Dolly! in 1990 and 2004. Most recently directed Writer’s Block and Stop Kiss for the 2009-2010 Adrian College theatre season. Some other directing credits include Jane Eyre the Musical, Romeo and Juliet, The Pirates of Penzance, Into the Woods, Once on This Island, The Caucasian Chalk Circle and Waiting for Godot.
