Biography

    Dr. Stephanie Jass obtained her undergraduate degree from Valparaiso University, magna cum laude, attended Bowling Green State University for her master’s degree, and graduated from Western Michigan University with a PhD in History. Dr. Jass began teaching at Adrian College in 2005. She is very active in the Reacting to the Past community, a network of faculty dedicated to developing, publishing, and promoting pedagogical games designed to improve student engagement. Her most recent publications include No Victory Without Work: A Pictorial History of Adrian College and “Montgomery, 1956: White Supremacy, Civil Rights, and the Bus Boycott” for the Reacting to the Past series.
