Biography

    ​Valrie Kantorski teaches applied piano and accompanies the choral ensembles at Adrian College. She is a Steinway Ensemble Artist and has performed as pianist in the Ohio Arts Council's Touring Artist Program. Ms. Kantorski is a member of the Toledo Symphony and the Kantorski-Pope Piano Duo, which is a three-time recipient of First Prize in the Graves Duo Piano Competition. Ms. Kantorski has been on the adjunct faculties of Florida International University, the University of Miami, Florida State University and Bowling Green State University. She has been a member of the Florida Philharmonic, Ft. Lauderdale Symphony, the Greater Miami Opera Orchestras, The Contemporary Baroque Trio and the South Florida Chamber Ensemble. She has performed in Europe and in venues throughout the United States, including New York's Carnegie Recital Hall and has recorded on Coronet, Capstone, Access and Riverview labels. Her newest CD, 21 Brahms Hungarian Dances for Piano Four Hands, is recorded by Whaling City Sound Label.
